Medpac wins Silver at the Practical Pre-School Awards 2013
Medpac is an innovative range of products launched by Suffolk mum in March 2012 which has now been fully recognised by winning Silver at the prestigious Practical Pre-School Awards.
After rigorous testing by an independent panel that included teachers, parents, carers and children Medpac was marked against a pre-defined set of criteria which included durability, adaptability and value for money to name just a few!
Jayne Tarrant, owner of the brand was delighted with the award having designed and launched Medpac only last year, after discovering a need for such a product when her daughter was diagnosed with a condition that required her to carry emergency medicine with her at all times. Not able to find a product to fulfil the need, Jayne set about designing and sourcing a product that would work in many situations.
Jayne explains “I wanted to find a solution that was durable, hardwearing, easy to find in an emergency and affordable and I believe that Medpac has achieved these objectives “.
Medpacs are practical bags which have been specially designed for storing and carrying medicines safely and securely and come complete with a Photo ID Card for easy identification in any situation, and a Treatment Card to write all essential information required to quickly administer the medicine and potentially save lives!
The bags which come in two sizes are ideal for asthma inhalers, adrenaline auto-injectors, epilepsy and diabetic medication, allergy medicine and more, and are now also available with a thermal lining to help keep medicines cool.
Suitable for people of different ages, Medpacs are ideal for storing medicines at school and nursery, whilst also perfect for taking to clubs, school trips, swimming, on holiday or generally out and about.
The bright orange bags are distinctive and instantly recognisable making them as easy as possible to find in an emergency situation. This is aided by the Medpac Wristband, a latex free and waterproof bracelet which can be worn to highlight that the wearer carries emergency medication in a Medpac.
