The very first Kent Digital Awards were presented in Maidstone on 18th June, celebrating the online achievements of businesses, charities and schools from all over the county.
The evening saw nominated finalists come together for dinner, drinks and an award ceremony to celebrate digital talent and innovation.
Parenta, a local childcare training and software company, entered its website into the category “Best Website for a School, Education or Charity” and came away with a Bronze Award in recognition of its website parenta.com.
The company expanded its marketing team in 2013-14, taking on a head of marketing, copywriter and marketing executive. This has enabled Parenta to create and deliver a very successful content strategy plan, which has seen an uplift of visitors to their website.
There were fifteen different award categories ranging from “Best Blog” to “Best Mobile App” and 18 digital specialists on the judging panel.
